Golden Chinese New Year celebrations at NagaWorld

To usher in the good fortunes and prosperity of the Chinese New Year celebrations, NagaWorld, the Times Square of Phnom Penh has put on a wealth of festive feasts and special promotions as well as a spectacular entertainment line-up including a God Of Fortune parade with lucky gold packet giveaways.

The celebrations starts today and will continue until 4 March.

The sumptuous feast at NagaWorld’s award-winning Chinese restaurant Fortune Palace (Level 1, NagaWorld) and the newly opened Hall of Golden Chimes (Level 5, Naga2) are serving the ‘Prosperity Yee Sang’, a fresh, raw fish salad to symbolize prosperity and vigour.

There is a choice of salmon, tuna or clam yee sang, either for dine-in or takeaway, with options to top up with lobster or geoduck clam.

Another extremely popular festive dish is ‘Poon Choi’, a traditional seafood casserole signifying abundance and affluence for the year. Featuring premium ingredients such as lobster, abalone, sea cucumber and scallops, it is available at the Hall of Golden Chimes.

Fortune Palace also offers ‘Prosperity Set Menus’, including exquisitely-crafted dishes such as Prosperity Yee Sang, Double-boiled Pike Maw Soup, Steamed Fish, Braised Pork Knuckle with Black Moss, Golden Suckling Pig, Nian Gao (glutinuous rice cakes) with Coconut and more. Delicious take away traditional treats such as ‘Nian Gao’ (glutinous rice cakes) and an assortment of Chinese New Year cookies, available at the Lobby Lounge of NagaWorld and Food Pavilion at Naga2.
