Judge James A. Wynn, Jr. of the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has been visiting Cambodia from June 4 to 8, a U.S. Embassy’s press release said.
The visit is part of the U.S. Speakers Series sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Information Programs, it pointed out.
Judge Wynn will deliver several presentations on judicial independence and other elements of the law to judges, lawyers, clerks, journalists, law students, and NGOs, it said.
According to the press release, he will give lectures on judicial independence at Paññ?s?stra University, Puthisastra University, and join a seminar on judicial independence and legal access for marginalized populations at Legal Aid of Cambodia, as well as a seminar on rules for legal interpretation at the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions.
