At least 500 big bike riders from five ASEAN countries will join a rally from Johor Bahru city of Malaysia to Phnom Penh capital of Cambodia as part of the upcoming Naga World Bike Fest, said Rajesh Kuma, Naga World’s Deputy Executive Director, on June 22 press conference.
All big bike riders will spend around 36 hours on 2,500 kilometer road – the first-ever event that attracts Guinness World Records.
ASEAN countries to join the rally include Brunei, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. 150 of the 500 riders are from Cambodia.
The initiative is the key part of the Naga World Bike Fest lasting from July 6 to 8 at Samdech Hun Sen Park – the heart of Phnom Penh.
With free entrance fee, the Fest worth US$300,000 is expected to attract some 60,000 audience with variety of entertainment including music concert, charity activities, competitions, exhibition, and lucky draw.
As co-organizer, the Ministry of Tourism represented by H.E. Hor Sarun, Undersecretary of State is positive that the event will also attract more visitors to Cambodia.
