Toyota Concert Tour 2012 Held in Phnom Penh

The Toyota Concert Tour 2012 was held on Saturday evening at Chaktomuk Conference Hall, in Phnom Penh.

The concert was performed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji with the participation of Cambodian and Vietnamese artists.

On the occasion, H.E. Ms. Minh Cosny, Cambodian Secretary of State for Culture and Fine Arts highly appreciated the event, stressing that it reflects the inseparable friendship between both neighboring countries.

This event is part of the activities to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Cambodia-Vietnam diplomatic ties.

The Toyota Concert 2012 has been touring Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam from July 24 to Aug. 6. According to the schedule, after being performed in Vientiane, Laos on July 24, and in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on July 28, the concerts will take place in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam on Aug. 1, and in Hanoi, Vietnam on Aug. 5-6.
