PM Hun Sen Regrets over the Loss of Income in Tourism Sector

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen expressed his regret over the loss of income from US$400 to US$500 million per year in the tourism sector.

Speaking at the handover ceremony of land title certificates to people in seven villages of Kep coastal province on Dec. 11, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said this loss is due to the lack of local supply for the tourism services.

He recommended each tourist destination to outline its concrete plans and cooperate with authorities to review the market needs and supply in response to the tourism demand.
