Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon has asked the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to review the island development projects, which were not developed in accordance with the contracts.
Speaking at the meeting held recently with CDC officers, H.E. Thong Khon said the CDC should revoke the licensed projects from any company that did not implement any development project as defined in the contracts and grant licenses to new developers instead.
He also expressed his concern over security issue and environmental pollution at islands while the number of local and foreign tourists to visit islands increased day by day.
