Cambodia Wins World Travel Fairs Award of Best Culture & Heritage Tour Destination

The Kingdom of Cambodia has been awarded with the World Travel Fairs Award of Best Culture & Heritage Tour Destination, among 36 countries participating in the World Travel Fairs 2015 held from May 4 to 11 in Shanghai, China. According to the Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia’s exhibition showcasing the attractive and competitive tourism diverse products has been nominated by the organizing committee for the World Travel Fairs Award of Best Culture & Heritage Tour Destination. Cambodia is seen of rich potential cultural heritages with proper management mechanism ensuring the socio-economic, cultural and environmental aspects, it underlined. The Best Culture & Heritage Tour Destination Award is the new achievement for this year 2015 which is beneficial for enhancing tourism and culture development in Cambodia, said the ministry, adding that it is illustrating that Cambodia is truly the Kingdom of Cultures which is the most attractive cultural-heritage tourist destination in the region and the world, whereby attracting more and more international tourists, particularly Chinese tourists to visit Cambodia, the “Kingdom of Wonder”.
