Cambodia and Belarus will sign new agreements to boost trade and investment during the state visit of the Belarusian prime minister to the Kingdom.
Tekreth Kamrang, Secretary of State at the ministry, met on Friday with Vladimir Goshin, Belarus’ Ambassador to Cambodia, to discuss forging better ties and increasing trade.
“Current trade volume between Cambodia and Belarus is tiny and both countries should work closely to boost it. Our goal is to reach $200 million in bilateral trade by 2020,” Mr Goshin said.
Ms Kamrang announced plans to sign new agreements with the Eastern European nation to increase trade and investment during the state visit of Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov.
The date of Mr Kobyakov’s visit has not been confirmed but is expected in the near future.
