Cambodian farmers to study in South Korea

A group of Cambodian farmers will travel to South Korea to study agricultural techniques and work as part of a programme backed by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica).

A total of 19 farmers have been chosen by the General Directorate of Agriculture to partake in the initiative, which seeks to boost agricultural standards in the Kingdom.

Sam Vitou, executive director at the Cambodian Centre for Study and Development in Agriculture, said the programme will help participants understand agricultural processes and techniques in other countries, including the use of advanced techniques and equipment.
