Eurocham Cambodia will hold tomorrow in Siem Reap the third iteration of its prestigious tax forum.
Last year’s event, which took place in October, attracted over 500 attendees.
The Eurocham Tax Forum counts with the participation of the General Department of Taxation, as well as experts from the private sector, including Cambodian Investment Management Tax Services, Deloitte, Bun & Associates, R&T Sok & Heng, Ernest & Yong and DFDL.
The welcome address will be given by the Chairman of Eurocham Cambodia, Arnaud Darc, followed by opening remarks from His Excellency Kong Vibol, GDT’s Director General.
In past forums, the opening speech by His Excellency Kong Vibol examined GDT’s performance during the year, discussed key amendments to the tax law as well as the implementation of new regulation, and gave insights into GDT’s future initiatives and potential new changes to the tax law.
Chhiv Kimsroy, Chairwoman of the Eurocham Tax Committee and Tax and Advisory Services Leader at Deloitte, will present on recent tax developments. Anthony Galliano, Group CEO of Cambodian Investment Management, will cover small taxpayer registration and tax obligations.
Industry-specific presentations will be given by Reangsey Darith Touch, Senior Tax Manager at Ernest & Young, who will discuss the tax regime in the tourism and hospitality industries, and Py Borapyn, Tax Country Associate Director at DFDL, who will round out the presentations tackling taxes in the non-profit sector.
