Donaco, an Australian-owned casino operator, has won an injunction against the lessor of the land where its resort The Star Vegas stands, who threatened to terminate the lease, according to a company statement published on Tuesday.
Lee Hoe Property Co., Ltd, the lessor, is a Cambodian company.
It had threatened to terminate the lease of The Star Vegas on “contrived and spurious grounds”, Donaco said.
“Donaco has now obtained an injunction in its favour from the Banteay Meanchey Court of First Instance, to prevent the threatened termination.”
