The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on Thursday announced it has approved four projects so far in June, amounting to $1.9 billion.
CDC posted in its Facebook page that since the beginning of the month it has issued final registration certificates for four projects that, once operational, are expected to create more than 11,000 jobs.
Capital Mineral Resources Investment will invest $11.93 million in a marble factory in Stung Treng province.
Royal Cera wants to invest $15.36 million to manufacture tiles and latrines in Kampot, while Tropical Fruit Asia will build a $6.47-million fruit processing factory in Kandal province.
