The first-ever European Fair, designed specifically to showcase European products and brands and promote business connections between local and European companies, ended yesterday.
More than 50 European companies with operations in Cambodia or other parts of Asean showcased their products and services at the event, which aims to increase awareness of European know-how and quality standards and allow participating companies and visitors to expand their networks.
The three-day event was organised by the European Chamber of Commerce with the collaboration of the French Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Business Group in Cambodia, the British Chamber of Commerce, NordCham, the Italian-Cambodian Business Association, and the Ministry of Commerce, with the support of Cambodia Airports.
The exhibiting companies and brands came from a wide range of industries, including automotive, banking, hospitality, furnishing, education, handicraft, construction, fashion and food and beverage.
Arnaud Darc, chairman at EuroCham, said at the opening ceremony that the event seeks to promote partnerships between local and European companies and consumers.
