The first domestic travel fair came to an end yesterday in Phnom Penh.
The CATA Tourism Fair, a three-day event held in the capital’s Diamond Island Exhibition Centre, was organized by the Cambodia Association of Travel Agents (CATA) and the Ministry of Tourism with the aim of promoting domestic travel in the country and advertise the nation’s best tourist attractions.
The event attracted more than one hundred exhibitors, including tour agents, hotels and guesthouses, restaurants, airlines, ecotourism communities, and manufacturers.
Minister of Tourism Thong Khon said the fair plays an important role in helping the government reach its tourism goals.
