A foreign investor has announced to invest in constructing a new resort in Siem Reap province, home to the famous Angkor temples, after his successful investment in Preah Sihanouk coastal province.
Mr. Rory Hunter, CEO and co-founder of the Song Saa Collective, who has successfully run Song Saa Private Island in Preah Sihanouk province said in a recent press conference that his company will invest some US$250 million in building “Song Saa Reserve”, a new luxury resort, in Siem Reap province.
The project will be developed on an area of 125 hectares in Banteay Srey district, some 1.6 kilometre from Banteay Srey Temple, he added.
