The Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC) is building a $2-million theme park in Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar that will feature animatronic dinosaurs.
The park, the first dinosaur-themed attraction in the Kingdom, will cover 5 hectares of land in Chroy Changvar Satellite City and is expected to open its doors to visitors in early 2019.
Mey Sarin, managing director of the Chroy Changvar Satellite City Development Project, said construction began in July.
“The park will cost about $2 million, not including the price of the land,” Mr Sarin said, adding that the stars of the show will be realistic animatronic dinosaurs that will inhabit a variety of settings, including mountains, rivers and pastures.
