Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this afternoon expressed his pride and warm welcome to all Cambodian nationals abroad who are coming to compete for Cambodia in the 32nd SEA Games.
“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our children and grandchildren from abroad, some from France while other from the U.S. and other countries to join the Cambodian teams at the 32nd SEA Games,” he said at a get-together with the Cambodian sports delegates before the 32nd SEA Games’ Opening Ceremony scheduled for May 5.
“I am happy with the ‘Cambodia’s mind’, wherever they go, they are still Cambodians,” Samdech Techo Prime Minister added.
No matter what country they live in, now they volunteer to represent Cambodia and hold the Cambodian flag, even though they are holding foreign citizenship, the Premier underlined.
Cambodia is going to host the 32nd SEA Games 2023 from May 5 to 12 and the 12th ASEAN Para Games from June 3 to 9 under the motto "Sport: Live in Peace".
