Hotel thanks employees with week of celebrations

CIRCUS acts and a dinner at the InterContinental Phnom Penh entertained underprivileged children on Saturday night at the close of the hotel's service week celebration.The week-long event is held each year to recognise the hard work put in by the hotel's 287 employees.

Team members take part in sports competitions, service Olympics and enjoy meals served by their managers during the week.A balloon launch to mark the beginning of the service week was followed by a cocktail party in the Grand Ballroom, where general manager Stefan Voogel thanked all his employees.

The celebration thanks and acknowledges the true heroes in our hotels; our employees, who work tirelessly day in and day out to serve and meet the needs of our guests. They do this because they are all loyal, dedicated and passionately committed to deliver a great hotel guests love, he said.
