The 21st East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) was kicked off on Nov. 29 in Siem Reap Province under the presidency of Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers H.E. Sok An.
The forum is held under the theme “East Asia to Further Strengthen with Sustainable Green Tourism Sector”, was aimed to achieve its development in region through the international development and business among provinces in order to enhance the international challenge of tourism industry sector in region and tourism cooperation as well as to contribute to the increasing market demand in East Asia Region.
The EATOF was established in 1999 under the initiatives of Gaungwon province of the Republic of Korea and other nine provinces in East Asia region.
Up to now, there have been 12 member provinces from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.
