ASEAN Bike Fest 2013 has been recently organized at the heart of Cambodia, Phnom Penh capital, following its big success from last year.
Co-organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Naga World, the four-day event (May 9-12), named ASEAN Countries Ride Together to Cambodia – the Kingdom of Wonder, aims to further make the country known to the world and promote road safety.
Bikers of top brands, like Harley Davidson, BMW, KTM, Kawasaki, Honda and Suzuki, were from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
They entered Cambodia through Cambodian-Thai border crossing Poipet on National Road No. 5 to Phnom Penh.
The event was cheered by key activities – including motorcycle exhibition, live concert, Khmer martial art performances, beauty contest (Miss Bike Fest) and sales from about 100 stands – attracting thousands of visitors.
The bikers also headed towards one of Cambodia’s most known Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap province afterthe celebration in Phnom Penh.
The first bike fest was done last year and brought togehter around 400 motobikes.
