Unclaimed baggage of marijuana at Nashville airport

A baggage of 44 pounds of marijuana with the street value of more than $120,000 was arrived at Nashville airport via a Delta flight from Seattle and no passenger appeared at baggage claim to retrieve the bag. Then airline personnel inspected the unclaimed luggage and they then turned the bag over to airport police.

Next day, 43-year-old George Nellans, the passenger finally showed up at the airport attempting to pick up the bag and then he was taken into custody. He is being held in jail for a felony drug offense and scheduled to appear in court on November 29.
