Cambodia and Russia have agreed to create a joint chamber of commerce to facilitate trade, according to a representative of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.
The Cambodia-Russia Inter-Chamber Working Group is expected to be formed this year as a joint effort of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.
CCC’s director-general Ngoun Meng Tech said yesterday that the body will work to facilitate trade between the two countries.
The body was proposed during a meeting on Jan 25 between Mr Meng Tech and Alexey V. Chepa, chairman of the Committee for Economic Cooperation with Asia and Oceania of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
