Local and regional logistics companies gathered yesterday at the Global Logistics, Cargo & Supply Chain Conference in Phnom Penh to discuss the most pressing issues facing the sector.
Held May 27-28, the event is organised by the Cambodia Freight Forwarders Association (CAMFFA) together with Malaysia-based MV International.
GLCS Cambodia seeks to collect input from experts in the logistics and transportation sectors to help improve transportation and supply chains in the country, according to organisers. The event also aims to connect businesses with potential partners as well as with decision makers.
CAMFFA president Sin Chanthy said that the conference serves as a platform to share information about logistics and supply chains.
“The conference aims to spread information about logistics development through speeches by key speakers,” Mr Chanthy said. “By sharing and networking, Cambodia can learn from others to improve the logistics sector.”
