Oman Air has launched a new code share agreement with Qatar Airways, allowing its customers to book flights from any of the 42 departure points within its network to Doha, Qatar.
The new agreement takes off effective immediately, allowing customers to book codeshare flights from today.
Oman Air chief executive Wayne Pearce said the agreement will make travel within the Gulf “easier” by extending the carrier’s reach across the Gulf region.
Codeshare flights can be booked through an agent or via the carrier’s website.
Meanwhile, earlier this month Qatar Airways was forced to ground one of its three Boeing 787 Dreamliners after experiencing technical issues.
According to the airline’s chief executive Akbar Al Baker, the aircraft has been grounded since 9 December 2012 and is currently with a Boeing team working to replace electrical components, Gulf Business reported
