SINGAPORE, 20 December 2012: Singapore’s SilkAir will increase services to some destinations in Asia including Phuket and Chiang Mai in its up-coming summer schedule, 31 March to 16 October 2013, to meet growing passenger demand.
The airline will increase daily services to Phuket, Chiang Mai, Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia from four flights a day to five.
Flights will increase to Danang from five to six weekly; Siem Reap, from nine to 10 weekly and Yangon from nine to 11 weekly.
Flights to Wuhan will be increase to daily, from the current four weekly. Services between Singapore and Chengdu will also be increase from daily to nine weekly.
In India, flights will increase to four weekly from three.
In Indonesia, the airline will offer five flights between Singapore and Manado up from four, but it will reduce flights from daily to four a week to Bandung.
