AirAsia X, the long-haul low fare affiliate of the AirAsia Group celebrated the airline’s inaugural flight to Jeddah from Kuala Lumpur today at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal. The flight, D7 174, departed Kuala Lumpur to Jeddah at 16.30hrs with 100% passenger load. The flight is bound to arrive at King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah at 21:00hrs.
To mark the inaugural flight, AirAsia X treated the public at LCCT with kurma giveaways. AirAsia X’s staffs dressed in Arabic attire were seen walking around, engaging the public, as part of our efforts in promoting Jeddah as the gateway to Makkah and Madinah.
The guests flying on the first flight were also showered with goodies by AirAsia X’s employees at LCC Terminal departure hall.
AirAsia X flies to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia three flights weekly. The airline will commence four flights weekly from May onwards.
