Hong Kong Disney raises ticket prices

HONG KONG  Hong Kong Disneyland Resort announced, Tuesday, the park’s new admission ticket prices and special offers for the travel trade industry that took effect today.
Under the new pricing, a one-day ticket for general admission (age 12 to 64) will be HKD539 and a child ticket (age 3 to 11) will be HKD385. The general admission ticket was HHKD499.
A two-day ticket for general admission and child will be HKD739 and HKD525 respectively. For one-day and two-day senior admission tickets, pricing will remain unchanged.
The resort offers a two-month grace period to the travel trade to enjoy the old ticket prices from now until 10 January, 2016, and the tickets will be valid until the same date.

inside no 5 A Hong Kong Disneyland spokesperson said: “The resort evaluates and adjusts pricing based on a variety of factors including the value of the resort’s attractions and entertainment offerings as well as future development needs.”
He added that the theme park will continue to work hand-in-hand with travel trade partners to explore business opportunities together.
The company stressed the price hike should be viewed in the context of all the new attractions added recently and the company’s policy to subject pricing to reviews. A grace period is in place for travel partners until 10 January 2016, covering the peak holiday seasons Christmas and New Year.
