28 Mar 2011  2072 | World Travel News

Marriott has just opened a new hotel, meaning that it now has 900 hotels in its chain. The Courtyard Property is in Bali, Indonesia and called Courtyard Bali Nusa Dua. The new hotel has 250 rooms and is owned by PT Peninsula Bali resort.

The hotel offers great facilities to its guests. Each room has luxury bedding and satellite channels on their 32 inch LCD panel televisions. The hotel also has a gym which is fully equipped with the latest machines and there are personal trainers on hand to help as well. However, the pavements around the surroundings of NusaDua are an ideal place to run and so if you prefer to work out, out of doors then this can be a good way of going about it as you can see something of the place at the same time.

This hotel is part of a recent growth in Marriott’s Asian hotels and they find that they are appealing to both leisure and businesses customers with the services that they supply. The president for Courtyard has stated that they are excited about expanding Courtyard to the Indonesian market and having their first hotel in the area.

They are planning on taking their Courtyard brand in to other new countries such as Jamaica, Romania and Cambodia over the next few years. There plans include having over 1,000 hotels in 40 counties by 2013. They do have most of their hotels in USA with just 25% outside, but do plan to continue to expand both the USA and international hotel range.
