Tourism promotion has a new face… or a new pose, with two Taiwanese women ‘planking’ in famous tourist hot spots to attract travellers.The two women, Karren and Jinyu call their laying face down promotions the Pujie Girl which means “falling on the street”, IFpress reported.

Making a name for themselves across the globe using social media, the girls said they post their planking photographs to promote tourist spots in Taiwan to anyone watching them online."At first we did it for fun but then we realized that the photographs were very visual,” Jinyu said.andnbsp; “So they could also be a very effective way to send out good messages.”

Despite the fun of the planking, the girls stress the safety and non-disruptive nature of their sport."The three golden rules for contribution are as follows: we don't disturb people, we don't do things to harm ourselves and we don't damage public property," they stress on their Facebook page.
