Vietnam Airlines starts selling tickets for Tet

Vietnam Airlines began selling tickets on August 10 for travel during the next Lunar New Year holiday.

The national carrier is selling all the seats on flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and Da Nang before January 13, 2012 and after February 7, 2012. It is also selling 50% of the seats on these routes between January 13 and February 7, 2012.

All the seats on flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh, Hai Phong, Hue, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku, and Dong Hoi, and from Hanoi to Can Tho and Dien Bien scheduled before January 13, 2012 and after January 31, 2012 are also being sold.

The airline will increase the number of its flights during the Tet holiday season according to public demand.
