Tourism officer shot dead in S. Philippines

COTABATO, Philippines, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Gunmen shot and killed a female tourism officer on Tuesday in the southern Philippines, a local official said.
The victim, Marie Fe Sison Geronga-Pame, was about to report to her office around 9:00 a.m. when she was attacked by motorcycle riding assassins in the city of Kidapawan, said mayor Rodolfo Gantuangco.
Gantuangco said based on witnesses accounts, the perpetrators, one of them bonnet wearing man, were waiting outside the victim's residence hours before the shooting.
Pame died of multiple gunshot wounds in her body.
"We have the names of the attackers and the police are tracking them," he said.
The victim was about to attend a proceeding on a domestic case when she was attack.
