SHANGHAI, 6 November 2012: The Pacific Asia Travel Association will co-host a China Responsible Tourism Forum this November to help build cooperation between China and ASEAN countries to strengthen sustainable tourism.
In a statement issued Monday, PATA said it would collaborate with the Marketing & International Cooperation Department of China National Tourism Administration and the ASEAN-China Centre to organise China Responsible Tourism Forum (CRTF), 16 November at the Parkview Hotel in Shanghai, China.
Themed a Sustainable Innovation, Sustainable Travel, Sustainable Business, this year’s forum will be co-branded as the China-ASEAN Tourism Development Forum aiming to bring together players from China and ASEAN countries that are involved in sustainable tourism and ecotourism.
According to PATA chief executive officer, Martin Craigs, PATA will develop the CRTF as an annual conference in China after it was launched last year in Beijing.
