(Forimmediaterelease.net) Helion De Villeneuve, the known French tour operator covering the names Thomas Cook, Jet Tours, and Austral Lagon, says that bookings for the Seychelles from France is getting back to normal.
“We have seen two back-to-back months of great numbers and, we can say that we shall start January 2013 with the numbers we wanted,” Helion said.
The French tour operator was in London for World Travel Market (WTM) 2012 and met with Elsia Grandcourt, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, in the presence of Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture.
At the end of the meeting Elsia Grandcourt said that the news coming out of France was indeed good news. “It shows that the strategy and working style put in place by the Tourism Board was working. We were tirelessly working to support our French tour operators' partners as we broke new grounds in working for increased visibility for Seychelles. Bernadette Willemin, our European Director and her team right across Europe believed in their ability to turn France around for Seychelles, and now the same effort will go to regain our fair share of the English and Italy markets,” Elsia Grandcourt said.
