(Forimmediaterelease.net) The Group Chairman of Mastcraft Ltd., the proprietors of the three hotels in London, met with Flavien Joubert, the Principal of the Seychelles Tourism Academy, as he transited London with Elsia Grandcourt from Ireland to participate at the World Travel Market (WTM) Tourism Trade Fair 2012.
The Bentley London Hilton Hotel, The Courthouse Double Tree Hilton Hotel, and The Washington Hotel Mayfair are all part of this group of hotels, and the discussions with Mr. Joginder Sanger, the company’s Group Chairman, and Mr. Flavien Joubert, the Principal of the Seychelles Tourism Academy, was to find ways to get the Seychelles Hospitality Management students to undertake their three-month work attachment period in London.
Mr. Flavien Joubert called on Mr. Joginder Sanger to facilitate the arrangements for the Seychellois students posting in London. “The discussions were fruitful and arrangements to facilitate this agreement is now being finalized as more hotels in different countries [are] now ready to take our Seychellois students for their work attachment periods,” Flavien Joubert said.
“We have been encouraging the Tourism Academy to open new avenues for our hospitality students. As a country we depend on tourism, the industry that remains the pillar of our country’s economy, and it is more important than ever before to open all doors possible for our young students. This includes the need for them to also spend time in countries where our visitors come from to ensure that their expectations are understood and appreciated,” Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture said.
