The number of foreign tourists to Korea this year is expected to reach 10 million this week, according to the Korean Ministry of Tourism.

The Korea Tourism Organization attributed the increase in Chinese and Japanese tourists to the popularity of Korean music and TV dramas.
The number of tourists to Korea last year reached 8.4 million.
The organization expects that the number of tourists will hit the 20 million mark by 2020.
