Vietnam stands fourth in the world in terms of tourism growth in the first four months of this year, according to a new report by the World Tourism Organization. The United Nations group said very few countries have been able to record double-digit growth in tourism this year. But Vietnam grew 36 percent, just after Sri Lanka, Arab Saudi and Israel.
Vietnam had attracted 1.8 million visitors by the end of April, up 35 percent year-on-year, including 432,600 last month for a 31.3 percent increase over April last year, according to the National Administration of Tourism.
